Funds Transfer Terms and Conditions
  1. Where applicable, you and/or your Supplementary Cardmember shall be responsible for making all payments on your and/or your Supplementary Cardmember's other credit cards and/or credit line account(s) with other bank(s) until you receive Standard Chartered Bank's ("the Bank") confirmation that such account(s) has/have been credited. The Bank will not be liable for any overdue payment or interest or any other fees, costs, expenses whatsoever and howsoever incurred on your credit cards and/or credit line account with other bank(s).
  2. Total Fund Transfer request is subject to a minimum of S$1,000 up to 95% of the total credit limit of your Standard Chartered Credit Card account. The approved amount to be transferred will be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion and the Bank's decision is final. The Bank reserves the right to decline any Funds Transfer application without giving any reason whatsoever.
  3. Once the Bank has approved your Funds Transfer application, the Bank will open a new account ("Funds Transfer Account") in your name for the purpose of this Funds Transfer. Each approved Funds Transfer amount debited to the Funds Transfer Account will be treated in the same way as a charge arising from a normal credit card transaction and will be reflected in the statement issued for the Funds Transfer Account.
  4. The promotional interest rate is valid for either 12 or 24 months from the date the Funds Transfer is approved, afterwhich the prevailing interest rate chargeable for Standard Chartered Credit Cards and MANHATTAN Cards apply. The promotional interest rate is applicable only to new balance(s) transferred and not to existing outstanding balance, fees and charges associated with Funds Transfer, other Card Transactions, Cash Advance transactions and other Funds Transfers. The Bank may at any time vary, modify or extend the promotion at any time in its sole absolute discretion without prior notice or without giving any reasons whatsoever.
  5. A one-time non-refundable processing fee of 4% or 6.5% on the approved transfer amount will be charged upon the approval of the Funds Transfer application.
  6. If you and/or your Supplementary Cardmember defaults on any payment in respect of your credit card accounts or any other credit facilities from the Bank during the promotional period of the Funds Transfer or for other reason which the Bank deems appropriate at its sole discretion, the Bank shall be entitled to withdraw the promotional interest rate and charge interest at such rate as the Bank may determine at its sole discretion in addition to any applicable finance charges and/ or late payment charges applicable to your credit card.
  7. Interest charges at the Bank's normal prevailing interest rates for credit cards will accrue if the current balance in the monthly statement is not paid fully by the payment due date.
  8. A conversion fee of S$50 will be charged for restructuring this non-instalment repayment Fund Transfer to an instalment repayment Funds Transfer or vice versa.
  9. This Funds Transfer promotion is valid for all Standard Chartered Credit Cards, including MANHATTAN Cards. Funds Transfer to any Standard Chartered Credit Card, Personal Credit, Home Renovation Loan, Personal Loan, Overdraft and Mortgage accounts are not permitted. Funds Transfer will not be eligible for any Std$ and CashBack.
  10. The Bank reserves the right to withdraw, or vary the terms of, this promotion at any time without notice. The Bank's decision on all matters relating to this promotion shall be final and binding
  11. In the event of an inconsistency between the Cardmemeber's Agreement and this Fund Transfer Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail only to the extend of such inconsistency
